Saw UTON pattern 75

SAW

The Uton vz. 75, together with the bayonet, file, and cord (paracord), forms the standard accessory equipment of the UTON vz. 75 knife, which was introduced into the Czechoslovak People's Army arsenal in the 1970s.

This accessory expands the knife's function from a purely combat tool to a versatile survival tool.

Saw:

• is made of high-quality carbon steel GR 1070 and is blackened,
• serves for emergency cutting of wood, plastic, or softer materials in the field,
• has a narrow blade with single-sided teeth,
• has a pin (tooth) at the end of the saw that fits into the hole at the rear part of the knife handle,
• is secured after insertion by a brass locking pin (locking cord with pin),
• the knife then serves as the saw handle,
• it is important to cut by pulling the saw toward you to prevent bending or breaking of the blade in the handle.
