Combat knife TAMON
The combat knife TAMON was created on the initiative of the headquarters of the 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade. The main goal of the project is to offer soldiers of the 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade a completely new tactical knife that will not only complement their gear but also serve as a reminder of the thirtieth anniversary of the brigade’s establishment.
When the brigade was founded in 1994, its motivational slogan was “THERE, WHERE OTHERS CANNOT MANAGE.” The brigade also carries the honorary title “DEFENSE OF THE NATION.” By combining the motivational slogan and the honorary title, the name of the knife was derived.
The blade is made of Böhler N690 steel, which is among the significant knife steels known for high cutting performance and resistance to damage and corrosion. The guaranteed hardness is 57-60 HRC. The handle is made from CANVAS MICARTA – BLACK / GREEN.

The knife design involved Major Hippík, the brigade command, and Mikov s.r.o., which is also the manufacturer of the TAMON knife.
The brigade headquarters also agreed with Mikov to release a version of the TAMON knife for the civilian market to enhance the prestige of the 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade. This civilian variant differs in handle scale color and sheath color.

- Each knife is manufactured with a high degree of manual work and undergoes individual inspection
