Knife for Active Reserves

AZD Knife

is designed for maximum durability in extreme conditions. It is not a multi-tool knife for slicing sausages, but a pure combat knife and rescue tool.

Blade

• is made of high-quality stainless steel 14260 with a hardness of 58 HRc and a DLC surface treatment
• has aggressive notches on the spine for cutting ropes, straps, or plastic bindings

Construction

• full-tang construction - the steel runs through the entire length of the handle, ensuring the knife will not break even when used for prying
• handle is made of leather rings
• prominent double-sided guard protects the hand from slipping onto the blade during strong stabbing
• the pommel of the handle is typically finished with a steel tip (pear-shaped), used for breaking glass or as a striking surface

Purpose

The knife is not intended for the general public and is manufactured exclusively for members of unit 121, the Guard Company of the Active Reserves of Central Bohemia.
