Combat knife BoP
The combat knife BoP is part of the equipment of the 3rd mechanized company of the 42nd mechanized battalion from Tábor. The knife design was created based on the unit's requirements. The design was authored by soldiers of the 3rd company and Major Ing. Roman Hippík. All prototype development and production were carried out by Mikov s.r.o. from Mikulášovice. The blade is made of Böhler N690 stainless steel, a notable cutlery steel known for its high sharpness and resistance to damage and corrosion. The guaranteed hardness is 57-60 HRc. The handle is made from G10 material. The knife sheath is made from Kydex with a textile strap and cord.

The designation BoP derives from the initial letters of its intended use – Combat Infantry. The name thus references the historical traditions of combat units in its home garrison. Alongside the company emblem, the knife becomes an integral part of the unit's symbolism, and its use is limited to unit members or those whom the company command authorizes to produce the knife.
Design solution and features:
The BoP knife is integrally constructed with ergonomic green handle scales. The handle shape and texture allow all grip styles, including extended grip. Despite weighing 311 grams and having a blade length of 140 mm, the knife achieves maximum operational performance. Each knife is manufactured with a high proportion of manual work and undergoes individual quality control. Mikov guarantees a 7-year warranty, excluding normal wear and defects. The knife is not intended for the general public.
